Rottweil

So one Saturday we packed up for the day and went to Triberg in the Black Forest and hiked up to the waterfall(one of the tallest in Germany) and then on our way back we saw a sign that said Rottweil was the oldest city in Baden Wurtemburg so we said hey lets take a look. So we stopped, walked around, played in the open water area they have, and ate handmade chocolates. It was a perfect end to a great and exhausting day.We parked by what we thought looked like a really cool old building in the middle of town. It was the PRISON. We thought it was hilarious that the great old building that we were admiring held inmates! The first picture is the prison. I took a picture for laughs. The Duke of Baden-Wurttemburg was held there in WWII. Don't know why though.Look closely at the buildings in the pictures they are incredible. All the stonework and paintings are so beautiful!

As always a TON of pictures for the adoring Grandmas and Grandpas who are so very far away and who we miss so very much!
